Woodbury County Bookmobile

 

The first Woodbury County Bookmobile was purchased January 1951. Mr. Louis Peterson went to Wooster, Ohio to bring the bookmobile to Moville Iowa.                      Other bookmobiles were purchased in 1963, 1982, 1997, (purchased with a Missouri River HIstorical Grant) and 2019 (purchased with help from Missouri River Historical Grant  and Roy J Carver Grant. The bookmobiles have provided books to Country Schools, Public Schools, Branch Libraries, Daycares, Senior Citizens and Rural Woodbury County Residents throughout Woodbury County.
